Dr. Mira Shah
Mira is the Clinic Director at Yellow. She is a trained and qualified school psychologist and has worked with children in India, United States, and United Kingdom. Mira completed her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and her Masters in Special Needs from the University of Nottingham.
Primarily, her research has been in the area of cross-cultural application of instruments and interventions. She studied the utility and reliability of Bracken School Readiness Assessment, Third Edition with students in Mumbai. Her doctoral research focused on implementing an early identification and tiered intervention model for reading in Indian schools. She and her research team were awarded a research grant by the Azim Premji Foundation to understand the landscape of services available to children in rural Gujarat. She has also worked on developing a bilingual school readiness measure for children between the ages of 3 and 6 in Gujarat.
She has worked with schools to develop systems and curricula to facilitate inclusion and academic development of all children. She also has experience of working in classrooms in London and Mumbai. She is dedicated towards promoting best practices in education through research and training. Mira has extensive experience in assessment, intervention planning, consultation, research, curriculum development, and implementation of school-wide systems and models. She currently serves on the editorial board of an international journal and has in the past served as the child development specialist on the urban planning of Pune city.
Mira conducts assessments, training, behaviour consultation, special/remedial education, intervention planning, and school-wide systems consultation at Yellow.
Unnati Jhaveri
Therapeutic Counsellor
Unnati Jhaveri is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC #2361) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT). Unnati holds a diploma in Transpersonal Therapeutic Counselling from Clearmind International Institute and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in Canada.
Unnati’s approach has a transpersonal foundation with a humanistic and experiential way of working. Together with her client she works towards their goals and letting go of patterns and behaviours that don’t serve them anymore, understand the nature of their core struggle, meanwhile adopting new perspectives, new approaches, and a fresh way of thinking and feeling.
Unnati is extremely passionate about working with couples, families and individuals. Being a counsellor is Unnati’s calling and purpose which she discovered through experience. To be there as a support system for someone is a privilege and honour for Unnati. Her goal is to help her clients to believe in their own potential and see their own light, and pave their own path to their happiness and calling. Unnati works with various interventions from different counselling modalities and therapies. She combines them based on the presenting issue, making it an eclectic and holistic approach.

Anshumala Shukla
Occupational and Aquatic Therapist
Anshumala Shukla is an SI certified Occupational Therapist as well as an Aquatic Therapist. Her prior experience includes working in a school set-up, outdoor therapy for children in their functional environments, group therapy and training professionals and parents through workshops. As a therapist, she is intuitive about each child’s learning abilities and helps them achieve success in their own unique way.
Dr Sapna Bangar
Psychiatrist
Dr. Sapna is a Specialist Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with Certificate of Clinical training from UK. She completed her undergraduate medical degree and postgraduate degree in Psychiatry from Nair hospital, Mumbai, India prior to going to UK for specialization. She was awarded her Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2009 following which she completed her Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She relocated to India with an aim to set up evidence based practice in child Psychiatry with emphasis in holistic, multidisciplinary care and research based interventions as well as alleviate stigma associated
with Mental health. Dr. Sapna has over 20 years of experience working as a Psychiatrist with children & Young people and has a special area of interest in neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism and ADHD, Eating disorders and emotional problems including self-harm and suicide in young people. She is trained in family therapy and works very closely with families of children going through mental health or emotional issues. She believes that every client is unique and should be treated as such whilst making treatment plans working on their individual strengths and weaknesses. She has numerous publications in research journals.


Dr. Prajakta Patkar
Psychiatrist
Dr. Prajakta Patkar is a consultant psychiatrist, specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, holding an MD in Psychiatry and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the field.
As an Executive Committee Member of the Indian Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, she actively shapes standards a nd practices, emphasizing her commitment to improving mental well-being in young individuals. Additionally, she serves as Joint Secretary of the Bombay Psychiatry Society, showcasing leadership in local psychiatric initiatives, collaboration, and advocacy for mental health awareness.
Dr Nidhi Mishra
Dr. Nidhi Mishra, MOT (Developmental Disabilities), BOT, OTR (Reg. No. 2023/06/OT/001133) is a pediatric occupational therapist trained at Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital. She practices a neuro‑affirmative, strengths‑based model—integrating sensory‑based interventions (including sensory integration techniques), ABC‑guided behavioral strategies, social‑skills training, and visual‑perceptual interventions—to support neurodivergent children (ASD, ADHD, Down syndrome) and those with cerebral palsy in developing self‑regulation, motor coordination, and independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
With a keen interest in early intervention, Dr. Nidhi completed a 32‑credit‑hour neurodevelopmental NICU care workshop and has extensive hands‑on experience in both clinical and home settings. She empowers families through practical coaching, embedding therapy goals into daily routines to achieve meaningful, measurable progress.


Dr Nidhi Jain
Her work is focused on promoting physical development, functional abilities and independence in children with Developmental delays such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism etc. She also works with Musculoskeletal conditions like Flat foot, club foot or scoliosis.
Smita Bhimjiani
Smita Bhimjiani brings over two decades of dedicated experience in working with children with learning disabilities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Nair Hospital, Mumbai, and a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Macquarie University, Australia. Additionally, she is a Certified Speech-Language Specialist accredited by the state of New Jersey, USA.
Since 2005, Smita has been an active member of the Indian Speech and Hearing Association and is also a registered professional with the Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi. Her academic contributions include serving as a lecturer in speech therapy at the Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped.

Currently, Smita is associated with the Aditya Birla Integrated School, Mumbai, where she works closely with children across a wide age range, addressing diverse language and communication challenges. Over the years, she has consulted with various reputed institutions both in India and the United States, including JBCN Pan Academy, the COM-DEALL Centre, the EAR Institute for the Deaf .
Her clinical expertise lies in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a range of childhood language disorders. She specializes in developing individualized education plans for children with conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Specific Learning Disabilities. Smita also has extensive experience in addressing speech sound disorders, fluency issues, and voice disorders in children.
